PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON

I am sending this to you to see how many actually read their messages. Your response will be interesting. Pay attention to what you read. After you have finished reading it, you will know the reason why it is here. Here goes: People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that p... erson. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.! LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime. My love for you is the Greatest. I appreciate U!

Your Habbit

YOUR HABITS EITHER WORK FOR YO OR AGAINST YOU. TAKE ANY HABIT YO PRACTICE , MULTIPLY IT BY 365 DAYS, THEN MULTIPLY IT BY SEVENTY OR EITHER YEARS AND YOU CAN WRIT YOUR OWN OBITUARY. SIMPLY STATED: GREAT PEOPLE HAVE GREAT HABITS. ONE BILLIONAIRE SAYS, '' I ARRIVE AT MY OFFICE AT SEVEN A.M. IT IS A HABIT.'' A BEST-SELLING AUTHOR SAYS, '' I GET UP AT THE SAME TIME EVERY DAY. I START WRITING AT 8:00am. and i quit at 4:00 EACH NOON. I DO IT EVERY DAY. IT IS A HABIT.'' JESUS WAS A CREATURE OF HABIT. '' AND HE CAME TO NAZARETH, WHERE HE HAD BEEN BROUGHT UP: AND, AS HIS [HABIT] WAS, HE WENT WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH DAY '' (LK 4:16). DANIEL PRAYED THREE TIMES A DAY. HIS PRAYER LIFE WAS SO PREDICTABLE THAT HIS ENEMIES USED IT TO TRAP HIM. WHEN MEASURED BY THE SAME STANDARD, HOW IS YOUR PRAYER LIFE? HABIT IS A GIFT FROM. IT'S SAID THAT IF YO CAN DO SOMETHING CONSISTENTLY FOR 21 DAYS YO HAVE PROVEN THAT YO CAN DO IT FOR 21 YEARS. WILL YO SLIP AT TIMES? SURE, YOU'RE ONLY HUMAN. BUT ONCE YOU HAVE TASTED SUCCESS IT'S HARD TO BE SATISFIED WITH LESS. JESUS SAID, ''IF YO CONTINUE IN MY WORD, THEN ARE YOU MY DECIPLES'' (jn 8:31 NAS). NOTE THE WORD ''CONTINUE;'' OT'S THE SECRET OF TRUE GREATNESS. YOUR SUCCESS CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE. IF YOU'RE SERIOUS ABOUT CHANGING YOUR LIFE YO MUST STOP PRACTICING BAD HABITS AND START INSTITUTING GOOD ONES.

Be Prudent.

Prudence (Lat. prudentia, contracted from providentia, seeing ahead) is the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason.[1] It is classically considered to be a virtue, and in particular one of the four Cardinal virtues (which are, with the three theological virtues, part of the seven virtues). The word comes from Old French prudence (14th century), from Latin prudentia (foresight, sagacity). It is often associated with wisdom, insight, and knowledge. In this case, the virtue is the ability to judge between virtuous and vicious actions, not only in a general sense, but with regard to appropriate actions at a given time and place. Although prudence itself does not perform any actions, and is concerned solely with knowledge, all virtues had to be regulated by it. Distinguishing when acts are courageous, as opposed to reckless or cowardly, for instance, is an act of prudence, and for this reason it is classified as a cardinal (pivotal) virtue. Although prudence would be applied to any such judgment, the more difficult tasks, which distinguish a person as prudent, are those in which various goods have to be weighed against each other, as when a person is determining what would be best to give charitable donations, or how to punish a child so as to pre
vent repeating an offense. In modern English, however, the word has become increasingly synonymous with cautiousness. In this sense, prudence names a reluctance to take risks, which remains a virtue with respect to unnecessary risks, but when unreasonably extended (i.e. over-cautiousness), can become the vice of cowardice. In the Nicomachean Ethics, Aristotle gives a lengthy account of the virtue phronesis (Greek: ϕρονησιϛ), which has traditionally been translated as "prudence", although this has become increasingly problematic as the word has fallen out of common usage. More recently ϕρονησιϛ has been translated by such terms as "practical wisdom", "practical judgment," or "rational choice."

God's Sure Promise

When God made his promise to Abraham, he made a vow to do what he had promised. Since there was no one greater than himself, he used his own name when he made his vow. He said, "I promise you that I will bless you and give you many descendants." Abraham was patient, and so he received what God had promised. When we make a vow, we use the name of someone greater than ourselves, and the vow settles all arguments. To those who were to receive what he promised, God wanted to make it very clear that he would never change his purpose; so he added his vow to the promise. There are these two things, then, that cannot change and about which God cannot lie. So we who have found safety with him are greatly encouraged to hold firmly to the hope placed before us. We have this hope as an anchor for our lives. It is safe and sure, and goes through the curtain of the heavenly temple into the inner sanctuary. It is well.

Faith In Action

Dear friends, do you think you'll get anywhere in this life if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, "Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!" and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup — where does that get you? Isn't it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense? I can already hear one of you agreeing by saying, "Sounds good. You take care of the faith department, I'll handle the works department." Not so fast. You can no more show me your works apart from your faith than I can show you my faith apart from my works. Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove. Do I hear you professing to believe in the one and only God, but then observe you complacently sitting back as if you had done something wonderful? That's just great. Demons do that, but what good does it do them? Use your heads! Do you suppose for a minute that you can cut faith and works in two and not end up with a corpse on your hands? Wasn't our ancestor Abraham "made right with God by works" when he placed hi
s son Isaac on the sacrificial altar? Isn't it obvious that faith and works are yoked partners, that faith expresses itself in works? That the works are "works of faith"? The full meaning of "believe" in the Scripture sentence, "Abraham believed God and was set right with God," includes his action. It's that mesh of believing and acting that got Abraham named "God's friend." Is it not evident that a person is made right with God not by a barren faith but by faith fruitful in works? The same with Rahab, the Jericho harlot. Wasn't her action in hiding God's spies and helping them escape — that seamless unity of believing and doing — what counted with God? The very moment you separate body and spirit, you end up with a corpse. Separate faith and works and you get the same thing: a corpse. (James 2:14-26 from THE MESSAGE: The Bible)

Don't Be A Mediocre

Mediocrity Is A Region Bordered On The North By Compromise, On The South By Indecision, On The East By Past Thinking And On The West By Lack Of Vision. You Are What You Are And Where You Are Because Of What's Gone Into Your Mind.
